Ok since I know not every state in the south can be described by this post nor is every state in the north in opposition, this post is strictly about things I recently noticed are different in NC than NJ.
Automobiles
-You have to get your car inspected EVERY year here
-AND you have to pay to get it inspected, that's right no DMV, MVS, (whatever it's called these days) inspection
-Every year ou have to pay a whopping property tax for your car with it's new registration
-How do they pacify all the uproars from us? LOW CAR INSURANCE! YAY! I believe my car insurance if half of what it was in NJ if not even less.
-AND we only need a license plate for the rear of our vehicles.Tax
I've been here for hmmm a few weeks short of a year, and I just noticed yesterday that (Well maybe I noticed before but I keep forgetting) sales tax is 8.25% woaaaaaah. Geesh is NJ 6 or 7 these days? I remember Vineland was 3%...I bought a nice piece of furniture there.I think that's all for now.
